The future of healthcare is a combination of in-person and virtual care, and the best models will include both. Virtual care can increase access to needed services like mental health care and specialty care. The home as a site of service will become more important as the Baby Boomers reach their high utilization years. Virtual care has the potential to be efficient and bring more people into care earlier but patient safety must always be addressed.

TeHA, the Texas e-Health Alliance, is your go-to resource for all things e-health in Texas. TeHA connect organizations with state leaders and agencies, offering insights on health information exchange, telemedicine, remote monitoring and more. During the visit, TeHA will provide updates on industry trends, networking, and business development opportunities. TeHA relationships with academic institutions and the Austin startup community allow to interact with early stage startup companies that are shaping the future of health IT.
