Every year, we’ll attend the Arab Health in Dubai.

Also, we have made some reports on the region which can be downloaded:

What trend do we see in the Middle East?

It’s one of the fastest growing healthcare markets in the world. For example, large budgets are available for investments in healthcare.

Regional information

 Gulf Region

  • Fact: To be successful, you’ll have to build and maintain reliable, stable relationships.
  • Difficulty: To make and keep the new infrastructure operational, the Gulf region is heavily dependent on imports of medical devices, devices, and medicines, but the international competition is fierce.
  • Chance: Good investment is being made in healthcare infrastructure and human capital is being built up so that more doctors and nurses are active per capita.
  • The next years, we’ll:
    • attend the Arab Health in Dubai.
    • organize targeted activities in promising countries such as Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia.
    • explore the possibilities of providing a multi-year follow-up to the PIB in the Gulf Region

Northern Africa & Turkey

  • Fact: these countries have similar healthcare challenges as the Gulf Region.
  • Difficulty: these countries are poorer than the Gulf Region and have less budget to spend on health care

Israel

  • Fact: Israel is an independently operating country in the Middle East.
  • Difficulty: the very small healthcare market is almost completely self-sufficient in terms of innovation, product development and digitization.
  • Chance: collaboration with innovative companies and organizations from Israel.
