At the 2012 edition of the Hospital Build and Infrastructure Expo and Congress in Beijing the Honliv Group signed the Letter of Intent that will lead to the design of a 500 bed Cancer Center in Changyuan (Henan province) by Dutch Health Architects and the consultancy and engineering firm DHV. The signing by Mrs. Li, President of the Honliv Hospital, Mr. Hua, Vice President of the Honliv Hospital, Mr. Han of Honliv Project Development and Mr. Liu, of Honliv Construction, took place at the Dutch Health Architects Stand at the HB expo on Sunday May 20th.
The counselor for Health, Welfare and Sports of the Netherlands Embassy in Beijing accompanied the signing.

The Honliv Group was convinced that the design of their new 500 bed Cancer Center should have the same quality as the hospitals they had visited in the Netherlands.
Healthcare in the Netherlands is known for its sustainable and innovative aspects, its strong focus on the wellbeing of the patient
and the high quality of the working area to support efficient en effective work processes.

Dutch Health Architects is able to use their experience and knowledge in the field of Hospital design and Oncology (Cancer) Centers to meet the high expectations of the Honliv Group. The result will be a unique Cancer Center in which the richness of Chinese culture will be combined with state of the art sustainable hospital design.
Dutch Health Architects will design the Cancer Center in close collaboration with DHV, a world-wide consultancy and engineering firm with more than 25 years of working experience and local offices in China. They will operate as one team for this as well as future projects in China. DHV is responsible for the engineering and project management. Dutch Health Architects is responsible for the architecture. The Cancer Center will treat about 13.000 patients each year.

For Dutch Health Architects and DHV the signing of this contract means an important first step in sharing experience and knowledge to make a contribution to Chinese Hospital Design and Chinese Society.

Dutch Health Architects showed innovative aspects in design of hospitals in the Netherlands during their presentation on May 20th at the Beijing International Convention Center.
